The law firm program may include various modules designed to prepare and understand contracts, letters, and other documents in the areas of contract, real estate, labor, administrative, tort, criminal law, and so on. At the same time, you gain knowledge for the comfortable work of the entire law office.

The offered terminological solutions are always based on the most modern solutions of the profession, which we at Veris often help to co-design. Veris ’professors who teach in the program have years of experience teaching lawyers, lawyers in business, and public administration.

Participants learn the vocabulary of general civil, criminal and contract law and grammatical structure for various legal acts and instruments, study terms in different jurisdictions (Slovenia, EU, Anglo-Saxon Council) and the use of Latin in the modern language. The program also includes phrases you need for contacts with foreign partners (telephoning, writing letters, e-mails, negotiations, draft contracts and offers, informal contacts, convening meetings, minutes). Participants refresh their knowledge of the grammatical rules of the general language, especially in connection with basic professional correspondence. Get to know and understand vocabulary and language structures in various types of Slovenian and foreign legal acts and instruments. You know how to prepare legal documents and justify solutions and summarize messages.

The program is also intended for offices operating in international environments and preparing for international professional exams (TOLES). Participants can learn to prepare demanding professional presentations, popular articles and discussions, and conference papers. Also learn the basics of foreign language rhetoric for successful meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
